PS4: Batman: Arkham Knight delayed to 2015

Bad news, Bat-fans. Batman: Arkham Knight, the third part of Rocksteady’s Arkham trilogy, has been delayed until 2015.

The next-gen only game will now be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC next year, at some point. Sad face.

“Now Batman: Arkham Knight is totally awesome,” Dax Ginn told the press last month, under embargo. “The thing about awesome, though, is awesome takes time. And totally awesome takes a lot of time. So in collaboration with our colleagues at Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics, we have decided to extend the development time of Batman: Arkham Knight. Now, the very simple reason for doing this is to ensure we are delivering the awesome level of quality that Batman fans and gamers expect from this, the final episode and the epic conclusion to the Rocksteady Arkham trilogy. The Dark Knight will face his ultimate challenge in Batman: Arkham Knight now to be released in 2015.”

It’s a real shame, partially because so many games seem to be being delayed at the moment, and partially because we really wanted to play more Batman. Still, if you absolutely can’t wait for your Bat-fix, Lego Batman 3 is out later this year! We know, it isn’t much comfort. Sorry.
