Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 being pulled from PSN

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 are both being pulled from PSN and XBLA next week. Capcom hasn’t given a reason, but we’d imagine it’s got something to do with rights expiring and Marvel requesting the titles be removed – this isn’t the first time we’ve seen something like this happen.

So if you fancy some fighting action featuring Marvel and Capcom characters beating each other up, you’d best act fast. We don’t know exactly when the games are being pulled, but we do know when DLC will stop being available:

– 17/12 for PSN in North America

– 19/12 for PSN in Europe

– 26/12 for XBLA globally

There’s a sale on for DLC for both titles on PSN currently, which should help ease the pain. If you haven’t got either game yet, give them a go – they are great fun.
