Forget GTA V. Now We’ve Got Naughty Bear 2: Panic In Paradise

Forget GTA V. Now We’ve Got Naughty Bear 2: Panic In Paradise

We all thought that there would be a big announcement before E3, and here it is. Naughty Bear: Panic In Paradise has been revealed.

If you’re thinking ‘wait, what? A sequel to Naughty Bear? Has this world finally rotated off its axis into the abyss?

Yes is the obvious answer. Although we’re still not convinced this isn’t a massive joke at our expense, especially when we read stuff like this:

“Naughty Bear really struck a chord with gamers looking for something more than the same old gameplay…with Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise, we’re turning the naughty dial all the way up to 11!”

Right. Those are the words of executive creative director David Osborne, speaking on behalf of developer Behaviour Interactive. We won’t dwell on them too long, because we’re afraid of what we’re capable of if we do.

What is worth considering is that Naughty Bear actually had a few half-decent ideas kicking around in its demented brain, but ended up being rubbish. As a downloadable title, with all of the many, many flaws ironed out, this could – could – be alright.

Brilliant. Now even we’ve gone mad.
