Will Modern Warfare 3 on PSN be more secure than MW2?

The Modern Warfare 3 hype train is up and running. Soon it’ll be unstoppable, if it isn’t already, but lingering doubts remain regarding the security of the PlayStation Network and its ability to ensure a fair playing environment for players. The rampant hacking of Modern Warfare 2 – which pretty much killed the enjoyment of the game for a great many players – is also an issue contributing to one of the main questions surrounding Modern Warfare 3’s online: is it secure?

We hope so. We’re sure that Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games will do everything in their power to ensure that Modern Warfare 3 will be secure as possible. No-one wants to see more exploits along the line of the javelin glitch: dual 1887’s were bad enough, and they were legal.

There’s also no doubting that people will flock in their millions to play MW3 on PSN, us included. But has trust eroded? And how long will it be before this version is exploited? More importantly: will you be returning to the franchise on PSN?
