Q Games release PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe demo, comment on game-sharing

PixelJunk_1_2_01

Those of you being stubborn and refusing to pick up the excellent PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe have no excuse not to play it now – bar not having hands, or something – as a demo has been released, letting you get a taste of the pretty little action. Download it through PSN or right here.

“But wait!” I hear you say, “that’s not enough news for the morning, Drainsfeld!” Well oh ho ho, I say: first of all my name is Dransfield, and second here’s a bit more from Q Games. In the wake of the news that Sony’s terms of service had been altered to only allow people to share their games with three different consoles, Dylan Cuthbert of the PixelJunk devs Tweeted this:

“good news, 3 is plenty!

“if you had a lot of hardware failures Sony are actually quite receptive to resetting the count (if you ask them nicely)

“running on 3 accounts should be enough for anyone really, and re-downloading is unlimited – the 24hr lockout is fairest tho”

Now, as we soon found out yesterday, the game sharing thing was a typo and has actually stayed firmly at five, so this is all moot. But he makes a reasonable point, regardless, and it was nice for you to read it. Wasn’t it?
