PlayStation Plus: Has Your Free 30 Days Convinced You To Stay?

It’s now getting towards the end of our free 30-day tenures on PlayStation Plus – part of the freebies given out by Sony as apology for the hacking downtime. If you want to keep any free stuff you got from PS+, you’re going to have to fork out for another subscription.

But will you? Has it done enough over these last few weeks to convince you it’s worth keeping?

See, this doesn’t apply to me, as I’m a massive idiot who has to have everything all the time – meaning I already had a PS+ account when this hoo-hah kicked off. But what about more rational, normal folks than me? There must be some of those among our readership.

Has a free copy of Burnout Paradise convinced you to stay? Has Streets Of Rage 2 and an expansion pack for, like, MAG or something (I don’t know, I didn’t check) made you believe in the service?

Or has it just been a bit of a distraction – a few extended demos and a couple of cheaper-than-normal games to tide you over for 30 days?

Basically – will you be buying any more time with the service? And if not, why not? If you are, what convinced you to stay? I’ll allow ‘because I’m mad like you, Ian’ as a reason.

I wont be getting playstation plus because it didn’t impress me at all,if it had cross-game chat,i might reconsider.

  • Basically the only reason to keep it that I can fathom is Burnout Paradise. Which I could probably pick up for a fiver at a second hand shop anyway. Little things like Streets of Rage 2 are nice to have but there’s no way i’d pay money for them.
