Play Causes Bioshock Infinite/Move Rethink. Next Step: World Dominance.

Back in issue 203 of Play we ran an interview with Irrational Games top bod and all-round great guy Ken Levine. In it he talked Bioshock Infinite and everything it would mean to us gamers – he also happened to talk a little of the potential for Move integration into the world of Columbia.

In short, he wasn’t exactly fond of the idea. Check here for choice cuts from the main interview meat.

Why is this relevant? Well, during Sony’s E3 conference yesterday, Levine mentioned the reason why Bioshock Infinite was now going to have Move support. It was after a phonecall from a Sony representative, which was in turn prompted by comments made by Levine in an interview about Bioshock Infinite.

You can see where we’re going with this.

It’s clear to even the most useless, cretinous morons* out there that the interview in question Levine was talking about was the very same one in issue 203 of Play. Thus meaning we are directly responsible for a huge new feature being added to Bioshock Infinite. Also, whoever came up with the title of the Levine interview feature (“One Nation Over God”) is a genius and is very sexy and should be knighted.

Yeah, we’re boasting. Because we have every right to, as Play is now officially the Most Dominant And Influential Magazine In The World. And that’s scientifical fact.
