No More Heroes Confirmed For PS3

(One Time) Wii exclusive No More Heroes, from the maker of Killer 7 Goichi Suda (AKA Suda 51) has been confirmed for PS3 and Xbox 360 for a 2010 release. More specifically No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise has been reported by Famitsu as coming to Japan next February. The game won many hardcore fans over on the Wii with its games industry and pop cultural in-jokes as well as its graphic fighting scenes and tongue in cheek Japanese qualities.

Given that a February release would bring the game out before PS3’s motion control tech the controls have been changed to a gamepad. Whether or not the game will hold up or indeed be improved through pad control will be interesting to see. We don’t have any clue as to a Western release date though, so we may be waiting for some time. However, we do know that developer Grasshopper is adding new modes (including a skimpy clothing mode called ‘Very Sweet Mode’) and Japanese voice actors (the original game was all in English, even in Japan). Most importantly of course it will all be in glorious high-definition, making the most of No More Heroes’ superb art style.

So, there you have it. Travis Touchdown is officially on his way to the PS3.We’ll bring you more news as we get it.
