As a Sega fanboy growing up, and it’s almost embarrassing to admit this, it still hurts me more than I’d like to let on to see where the company has ended up nowadays. Anarchy Reigns and Sonic Generations are obvious links to Sega’s past but seeing a company once responsible for the likes of Sonic The Hedgehog, Rez, Super Monkey Ball, Jet Set Radio and Shenmue releasing licensed movie tie-ins like Thor is… weird, to put it politely.

Which is why it’s BRILLIANT NEWS that Daytona USA is coming to PSN next month. Here’s the official trailer:

Sega don’t make games like this anymore because sales marketing men money charts etc. But when the strains of ROLLING STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART hit, Sega still tickles my gaming crotch in ways that few other developers know how.
