Aliens vs Predator Australian Saga Part III: this time it’s not war anymore

Hopefully this is the last we’ll hear about this, as we all know the fourth part in a saga is never a good one. Regardless: the refusal to give Aliens vs Predator a certificate was overturned by the Classification Review Board over in Australia. The game will be released – in full and uncut – just as Rebellion had always wanted.

Darren Macbeth, general manager of Sega Australia, released a statement saying: “It is with great pleasure that we announce the success of our appeal. We are particularly proud that the game will be released in its original entirety, with no content altered or removed whatsoever. This is a big win for Australian gamers. We applaud the Classification Review Board on making a decision that clearly considers the context of the game, and is in line with the modern expectations of reasonable Australians.”

So you may as well rejoice, all you Aussies who are aged 15 and over, as you’ll be able to enjoy the game along with the rest of the world. Except for Germany.
