Everything we know so far about Assassin’s Creed: Unity

Ubisoft recently announced the next Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, and we’ve rounded up every snippet of info in an easy to digest list.

– Assassin’s Creed: Unity is set in France during the French revolution, which occured from 1789 to 1799.

– It is being developed exclusively for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

– PS3 and Xbox 360 will be getting an entirely different Assassin’s Creed game at the same time.

– Unity will be out around the end of 2014.

– It’s been in development for three years apparently, although we’d take what that actually means with a grain of salt. They might have been thinking about it for three years, or took a year to make the logo – we don’t know.

– We also don’t know which studios in particular are developing the game, although going by the past few, we’d imagine Ubisoft Montreal are heavily involved, probably with help from about 20 other Ubi studios.

– The game wasn’t supposed to be revealed this early – after a leak on the internet, Ubisoft went into damage control by releasing the first teaser trailer below.
