What New PS4 Games Will Be Revealed At PlayStation Experience?
With PlayStation Experience on the horizon, it would seem that we can expect some new PS4 games to be announced, with Sony suggesting that it’s got some cool stuff up its sleeve.
So, can we make any educated guesses about what new PS4 games Sony might be revealing? Yes we can.
Firstly, it would appear that David Jaffe has got a new action horror game that’s going to be unveiled at PlayStation Experience, as reported by NowGamer. That one is pretty much nailed on for a PlayStation Experience reveal, given that the teaser for the new game was pointed to in a trailer for the event released by Sony. You can check out the teaser for the new game from Jaffe’s studio, The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, below:
As to what other PS4 games could be revealed at PlayStation Experience, we now move somewhat into the realms of speculation, but we do at least know that there are a couple of unannounced games in development that could conceivably appear at the event.
The first of those is a new RPG from Square Enix, one which will not be an entry in an existing franchise, but an entirely new IP.
Interestingly, Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda said, in an interview with Famitsu, translated by Gematsu, that the company would be talking about in the game in December, which would match up with the scheduling of PlayStation Experience, due to take place from 6-7 December (though it could be appearing at VGX).
Perhaps we might also get some information on what Capcom has got in the works for PS4. As reported by Gematsu, Capcom producer Jun Takeuchi recently that people “will be surprised by the quality of the games we’re working on right now,” and that they have a project that “will even turn heads overseas.”
Given that PlayStation Experience is close, it’s worth noting that Takeuchi said: “I think we’ll be able to announce it soon, so please look forward to it.”
That means it is entirely possible that we could see something of the game at PlayStation Experience, though, of course, VGX is another possibility.
Other than that, expect to see new gameplay of the likes of Grim Fandango. We’re also hoping for a release date for No Man’s Sky.
