And Stranger’s Wrath on Vita too? Awesome stuff.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee on PSN next weekThere’s a double helping of Oddworld on PSN next week, as original Xbox game Munch’s Oddysee arrives on PlayStation 3 and Stranger’s Wrath comes to Vita on 19 December.

Munch’s Oddysee met with something of a lukewarm reception on its original release, the 3D platforming nowhere near as refined as the excellent PSone adventures. We’re not sure how kind time will have been to this 2002 Xbox launch title, though you’ll be able to find out for yourself next week for £7.99 (or €8.99/$9.99 in non-UK territories).

Stranger’s Wrath, on the other hand, is excellent. It’s been available on PS3 for a little while now although the smaller screen on Vita and the surprisingly handheld-friendly nature of the game makes it a perfect fit. If you’ve not played it before, we urge you to do so – it’s a classic of last generation still holds up well today, plus it’ll set you back a mere £9.99 (€11.99/$14.99). Bargain.

With the New ‘N’ Tasty remake of the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee in production, this is the perfect chance to show your support for the quirky franchise. If it gets enough love, we still might see a brand new game, and that would be A Very Good Thing.
