Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Let's take something Danny Bilson says out of context!

Danny Bilson is one of our favourite people in the industry, because he likes to talk, he’s enthusiastic and approachable, and he at least seems to actually play the games he’s hyping up. You’d be surprised how few execs in the gaming world are like that.

But that still won’t stop us from preying on him to tear apart interview quotes, take them out of context and respond with a flippant, dismissive remark. Because we are a shower of bastards, no doubt.

Speaking about Homefront’s Metacritic rating of 71 (it’s actually 70 on 360, 69 on PS3, but still), Bilson said:

“What I will say pretty clearly is the game is not a ’71′.”

Well, Danny, you’re right. It’s not a 71. That’s because it’s a 69. And not just because Metacritic says so, but because that’s what our review in Play said too. Consider yourself facted, Bilson.
