“Have you ever loved someone who was so beautiful and pure, you couldn’t bear to show them your own darkness?”
What? Oh, do shut up you boring goth tit. This quote might read like it was taken from the online profile page of some pasty-faced, bandy-legged ninny who says that no one understands him because he’s such an individual, and whose real name is Keith, but insists that everyone call him Blackthorne because it sounds scary and also because ...
Codemasters have announced a new FPS from the creator of the really-rather-metal Black (you may remember it from the tail-end of the PS2's life), this one entitled Bodycount. There's definitely a lot of imagination with these titles. Still, Black was fantastic, so this news is worth reporting on and has us excited.
The new game is scheduled for a release in the first quarter of 2011 on PS3 and will include a single-player story of 'the Network' taking out 'Targets' (more ...
Charm is a dangerous thing. Some of the worst, most evil people in the history of the world have been charming individuals. Saddam Hussein, Joseph Stalin, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Hirohito, Adolf Hitler, King Leopold II of Belgium, Satan – they’re all charming devils, one of them quite literally. And speaking of Hitler, isn’t turning one of the most horrific and tragic wars of all time into a twee little anime story about the reds fighting the blues ...
Gamers have been blowing stuff up for fun since gaming began but, as you’re about to find out, explosions aren’t always fun. Just nearly always.
VG247 is reporting that a LittleBigPlanet sequel is in the works and will be released this year. This news flies in the face of claims from Media Molecule in the past that it would resist a sequel. Its reasoning was that a LBP 2 would alienate buyers of the first game by voiding their creative efforts. MM seemed to think it could bring all the changes and updates to the game it wanted to through DLC alone.

The Commies have invaded the US, many have been killed and it’s up to you and your merry band of insurg… ‘freedom fighters’ to repel the invading Ruskies and save the world as America always does. And there we have 2003’s Freedom Fighters, from the same studio that brought us Hitman 2 and Kane and Lynch. Wait a minute – that can’t be right, surely? But of course it is – we just forgot to mention ...
Gamers aren't traditionally know for their good dress sense and, to be honest, that's entirely fair. Generally, we have no idea of what the latest clothing trends are or how to co-ordinate our wardrobe, whatever that means. Maybe games themselves are teaching us all the wrong lessons. We investigated…
You may know Shaun White better as a snowboarder, but he's also a skateboarder and Ubisoft is taking full advantage of that fact by launching a new game under his name. The game is being scheduled for the end of the year, but currently no gameplay elements have been revealed.
Spring has sprung at last and is traditionally a popular time to give birth to things so, without further ado, here are some babies…

Activision has attempted to stamp things down a little by revealing its plans for the future of the franchise. Can someone please explain why, in the last 14 years it has been necessary to release 15 ‘different’ Worms games? Okay, so there were a few 3D ones and one that was supposed to be some sort of puzzle game, but the other 11 have just been the same unfair, annoying crap over and over again, and that includes the one recently released on the PSN. It was bad enough enduring these stupid games on the PSone and ...
