My first reaction to this was it isn't resident evil anymore, RE5 is just a very very good action game . The over the shoulder view has helped gaming evolve, but saying that i hate everything RE has become. Dead space for me (opinion) is so superior to RE5 and RE4 when it comes to tense atmosphere. RE2 is the best out of the series, personally. Fair enough many gamers out there would think i'm insane, but RE has lost its edge and i cant see myself buying another one until it re-captures that "survival horror" feel. RE4 was good but........................ it missed something for me. Maybe i'm being nostalgic, but without "zombies" (even though they weren't really zombies, but simply infected with biological weapon ) its just blllaaaaaahhhh. you know?? I understand games need to change and move forward, but you would associate "zombies" with the RE title and if they are not in it then it doesn't feel like Resident Evil? hmmmm tbh I disagree.
