PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale: Who Actually Wants This?
A fighting game pitting famous PlayStation characters against each other? What could go wrong? All of it.
Reports suggest a (maybe) fake survey is doing the rounds, gauging opinion on a possible PlayStation-themed franchise v franchise fighting game. It’s not the first time we’ve heard it, but every time we do we have to ask: why?
Money, probably, but a (totally scientific) quick show of hands around the office suggests that no-one wants this. And these people are all PlayStation fans. The reason?
Well, it probably won’t be very good, will it? At first you’ll be all like ‘oh, it’s Kratos, I remember him!’ And then Nathan Drake – who is well equipped for the role seeing as he’s killed more people than everyone else in PlayStation gaming combined – will pop up and people will remember him too, from that series they loved, yeah. Sweet!
And then you’ll play it and it’ll probably be a bit rubbish.
‘But…But what about Super Smash Bros?’ we hear you cry. So what? They’ll be made by different companies. Is the fighting likely to be good? We mean, really good? As opposed to just thwacking at a Dual Shock like a demented seal to pull off some rubbish, barely appropriate move? No.
Although, maybe it will be good. Maybe we’ll be wrong. Probably not though. Just leave it alone, eh?

Stop complaining about blogs, just like call of duty moaners. You came here on your own accord, the writer didn’t ask you to read it nor has it cost you anything bar a few minutes of time that you’re already wasting to read it. You should keep your broken, barely literate complaints to yourself if you’ve nothing to add.

Fair enough.
I though the blog would make more sense or at least have a well-backed up argument prior to reading it. It was only afterwards that I realised it had no real structure, no actual evidence was incredibly repetitive and didn’t have any strength, conviction or point. In reading this I have learned nothing, been given nothing to think about and I even feel bad knowing this exists.
I apologise for not having the means to turn back time and stop myself from reading this blog to avoid wasting my time. And I also apologise for having an opinion that I wanted to share with anyone who would care to read or respond to.
Oh wait, no I don’t because that’s neither possible or any of your business.
