Batman: Arkham Knight Ending Revealed?
The ending for Rocksteady’s upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight, due to hit PS4 in June, may have already been spoiled (don’t scroll past the image below if you don’t want to know what it is).
Videogamer spotted an Amazon listing for the limited edition of Batman: Arkham Knight that included a statue with what appears to be a rather spoilerific engraving.
Amazon has since updated the listing to remove the offending piece of information, but it’s a bit late for that now.
While the engraving does appear to reveal a major plot point, it seems unlikely to us that Rocksteady would include such a spoiler in their special edition, effectively punishing fans who have forked out the extra money for it. For that reason, we suspect that the apparent spoiler isn’t quite what it seems. We’ll have to wait until the game is released to find out.
We’re posting the potential Batman: Arkham Knight spoiler under the image below, so don’t scroll any further if you don’t want to know what it is.
The statue included in the Batman: Arkham Knight collectors edition includes the inscription: “From a Grateful City In Memory of the Gotham Knight”. This suggests that Batman could die at the end of Batman: Arkham Knight.
Or, perhaps the statue is simply intended to reference the fact that Batman: Arkham Knight will be Rocksteady’s last Batman game.
