Portal 2 Snubs PS3?

Valve has formerly announced the already expected, but much-anticipated sequel to 2007′s Orange Box title Portal will be coming out around the end of the year, but unfortunately it doesn’t look like it will coming to PS3. The official reveal of the game has appeared in US magazine GameInformer, but it only lists PC, Xbox 360 and Mac as formats.

This shouldn’t come as too much surprise to most PS3 owners even if it is a great disappointment. Portal was one of the most exciting games of 2007, capturing many imaginations with its devilish puzzles and monsterous villain. The murderous AI  GLaDOS will return in Portal 2, but once again Valve would appear to be shunning the PS3, a format it has chosen to avoid with its Left 4 Dead games.

So until we hear otherwise we’re going to have to assume that Portal 2 won’t be coming to PS3, as much as we may want it to. If we hear anything we’ll let you know.

Valve is just too afraid to port it to a more complicated system…it happened with the PS3 version of the Orange Box; it came out flawed
I guess I’ll just play Portal 2 on PC
