Media Molecule never confident of LittleBigPlanet 2 in 2010
As you probably already know, the release of LittleBigPlanet 2 – PLAY’s hot tip for ‘best game of all time’ – has been delayed until January 2011. I’m disappointed, but I’m not surprised.
Back in May of this year, I spoke to the game’s creative director, Mark Healey, and he told me,
“I just can’t wait, man… I just can’t wait to see what the community does with this stuff.”
When I asked how much longer he would have to wait, the answer wasn’t exactly committed,
“Well, we’re targeting this year, Thanksgiving I think. That’s what we’ve promised Sony, but y’know, I wouldn’t like to stake my life on it.”
Good job too. We wouldn’t want such a talented chap cut down before his time.

It’s good that it’s delayed. Having it release the same month as Gran Turismo 5 would be a disaster for both games. Since, it’s delayed, the game will be more polished.
ofcourse they were unsure of the game that’s the reason why Sony gave PSN+ UK users a free copy of LBP 1 whereas the game sold more in the UK.
How retarded is that?
they are giving it out free so that those who tried the free LBP will get LBP2.
