Ico and Shadow of the Colossus to get HD treatment. What else do we want to see?
Rumours are rumouredly pointing to the rumoured fact that Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are to be released on PS3, in HD and on a single Blu-ray. But what other rumoured rumours would we like to see?
Certain words on certain popular news sites are pointing to certain words saying certain things about two certain games being ported to PS3, HD’d up the wazoo and on a single Blu-ray disc for good measure. Now obviously we would never buy into such crazy rumour or speculation, but what we will do is suggest a few other games and series that deserve the ol’ HD makeover.
Oh, we’re talking about Shadow of the Colossus and Ico, by the way. They’re rumoured to be coming to PS3 in Blu-ray-HD-update-format. Anyway, LIST!
The Conflict series: Because who wouldn’t want to replay some half-decent and some pretty bad shooters that everyone ignored on PS2? Taking in Desert Storm 1 and 2, Global Storm and Vietnam it would be sure to appeal to… well, some people, surely?
The Ace Combat series: Yes, your eyes don’t deceive you – this is indeed a genuine entry. The Ace Combat series is one of timeless arcade fun and a simple graphical update would bring the series back into sharp focus. Yes, your eyes don’t deceive you – this is indeed a genuine HD-related pun.
The Hitman series: Alright, so we’ve officially veered away from daft entries now. This sets a dangerous precedent. Anyway, the Hitman series, all on one disc, shiny HD so you can see the gleam off 47′s head. Perfect. It would also be a fine bridge for the gap between now and the next Hitman game, should that ever happen. You could throw a HD version of Freedom Fighters on there too, just to make it the most perfect thing ever.
The Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver series: A fine way to test the waters of public opinion, to see if there is still a market for future tales in the adventures of Kain and Raziel. Yes, this list is taking a far more personal turn and staying away from more popular, obvious choices. Oh well.
Medal of Hono(u)r: Rising Sun: Hahaha, no, not really.

Final Fantasy X for me. Seeing that world in HD would be quite something, as well as the Aeons (both Dark and normal).
It would have to be the Gta series, that would be awesome. Reliving those memories of riding a bicycle in San Andreas in HD. I can only dream….
