Hugh Jackman to star in Uncharted: The Movie?

Who would you want to play the part of Play’s favourite hunk-a-rogueish-man, Nathan Drake? Well, Drake’s voice actor Nolan “I Am Everyone In Every Game Ever” North has thrown his vote into the hat, backing one Hugh Jackman.

But it’s not just the most ubiquitous voice actor of recent times who’s backing Wolverine, it is also – according to North – the choice of the producers of the upcoming Uncharted film. Speaking to OPM on their podcast (which, naturally, isn’t as good as ours), North said:

Jackman is who I’d like to see. I think the producers would like to see Jackman too, because he has that tough guy exterior, but… there’s also a lot going on behind his eyes. A lot of emotion and sensitivity on that brusque exterior, and he has great comic timing. He’s a phenomenal actor. I just hope I get a part on the movie so I can work with Hugh.”

Much as we try to dislike Jackman it’s pretty hard, as he seems like a lovable sod, so we’d be happy to see him take up the part. Time will tell, we shall see and some other things like that.
