Dead Rising devs making Capcom’s “next big game”

Capcom Vancouver, developers of Dead Rising 2 and spin-off Off The Record have revealed on their website they are responsible for creating Capcom’s “next big game.” Not much else is said, but the “PS…. NO ZOMBIES” makes it seem unlikely that this is the rumoured Dead Rising 3.

“Capcom has one of the industry’s greatest back catalogs but for our next project we’ve been given the opportunity to create Capcom’s next big game” reads the post. Other than that, there isn’t much to go on. The studio is hiring – “To build the game we’ve assembled a crack team but we’re only halfway through filling the roles We’re looking for a wide range of staff from junior to intermediate to senior so if you’d like to join the team on their great new adventure check out the Careers page.” So if you want to make games for a living and fancy moving to Canada, this is your lucky day.

A LinkedIn post claims the studio have two titles on the go, so we could still see Dead Rising 3 at some point. Watch this space!
