How is this not a good idea? LBP is a much bigger franchise than ModNation. Sackboy is one of Sony’s big mascots, it would be stupid not to take advantage of it. Given ModNation’s poor sales, this is a good plan. The only stupid thing here is, why on earth they didn’t do it before. Besides, as much as I love ModNation, it doesn’t compare in anyway to LBP’s superiority. Mod’s art style was horrible and the loading times were zomg horrendous. United Front Games, afaik, are indeed making LBP Karting. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes.
If Sony plays their cards right Sackboy could be the next big mascot, which it really already is to be honest. Although to see Sackboy go down in history alongside the likes of Mario and Sonic is what Sony seem to be aiming for. It’ll take a few gens but hopefully Sony won’t muff it up!
