alien vs predator demo

Alien feels retarded to use, because it's hard to navigate upside down, and you have none of your body onscreen until you attack, but when you get used to it, it is awesome, mainly because you can see the outlines of people through walls, and you can stay still in shadows and drop down on marines.

I don't like being aliens, mainly because of the disorientating wall climbing ability.

That ability is very useful when you get the hang of it, though even then you get lost in a flurry of chasing your tail sometimes.

i have now tried playing as an alien, the speed of the character is quite good and i like the idea of being able to climb up onto ceilings. i was using that feature to hide away from goffs mate when i payed against him. only problem is its a very strange feeling and can leave you confused at times. just like the old pc avp 2. except easier to move. i will probs not buy this game, because i think the controls are a bit iffy. there were times that i couldnt throw my weapons and if i did i couldnt target either. im probably gonna buy modnation racers instead, looks like it will be more fun and worth the money. i was wondering since the beta has ended now does that mean everyone thats downloaded the demo cannot play it anymore?

i belive so... im sorry about my ps3ness >.< i was going to join.. but then got board of waiting and went on mass effect on my pc... then realised i could hear talking from the ps3... and just turned it off only to just turn it on to find a message from uber saying "are you there?" lol

lol i kept coming across uber and his mate fighting each other and i would kill them both since they lost all that health, did that like 2 or three times lol

i was quite disappointed by the demo, i thought that sega would have released a map that wasnt so confined and a different gametype, like species deathmatch. I don't think ive actually seen a proper kill without someone using that ' GRAB ' move. I was really looking forward to this game, but since i have cancelled my pre-order and wait to see what the reviews are all about. I think maybe i was hoping this game would be like AvP Gold and AvP 2 from the pc many moons ago, fingers crossed it gets good reviews though

iv killed a few times without using the grab technique, but i just don't like the controls for it. also the alien is really hard to control, gets confusing running on the walls and ceiling. so much so i ran past a few people without really noticing lol.

They've released an updated version of the demo now, because of the issues finding a game and any other minor errors.
